About the Game

Centuries ago, the Count wrecked havoc on this Mortal World, until a hero of mankind strong enough to defeat him showed up to finally topple his reign. However, the legends say that one can claim his former power - if only they can build a castle worthy of his magnificence.

Draftula is a roguelike twist on the block-dropping puzzler where you try to build up a castle as high as possible! Each night, you construct your fortress by dropping rooms onto the board. Each night, build up your castle by dropping rooms onto the board. Rooms have certain boons when placed next to other rooms, so learning what rooms play nice together is crucial for your success.

Between runs, get to know the residents in the surrounding town to uncover the story behind the Count and your own motivations for building the castle. Spend gems earned during your nightly charter to get new rooms to reach even greater heights.

You must play with the hand you are dealt with, meaning that no two runs are the same and every castle you build will end up being different from the last.

Will you be able to build a fortress to stand the test of time, or will that pesky hero send your work crumbling to the ground?
