About the Game

The Great Old Ones hunger for the end of days. The world is ripe for a glorious descent into madness. But first, the budget for ritual daggers needs approval, and someone must restock the sacrificial coffee supplies.

In Doomsday.Inc, you are not a hero or a villain. You are the voice in the static, the project manager of the Apocalypse. Your kingdom is a map of a modern city. Your weapons are resources. Your flock... let their zeal surpass their intellect.

Manage the Sacred and the Mundane

Gather your meager resources to fuel your divine ambition:

Faith: The precious currency of madness. Accumulates slowly, spent in an instant on miracles and management.

Influence: The shadow you cast over the city's structures. Spend it to avoid the gaze of the curious and the powerful.

Sundry Goods: The mortal spoils of your followers' endeavors. From food for the altar-espresso machine to cash for discreet bribes.

Assign. Manage. Improvise.

Place your followers on the city's buildings like pawns on a grand chessboard. Assign them to recruit in the neighborhoods, embezzle funds from the bank, and consolidate your Influence in the town hall. Every action is a risk. Every risk attracts Attention.

For you are being watched from beyond the veil of reality.

The police, the press, a rival cult—every misstep fills the meter of Attention. A full meter will unleash a storm of police batons and legal injunctions upon your sect. Will you fight back with empowered artifacts and militant acolytes? Or will your grand summoning end, not with a bang, but with a court hearing?

A Narrative of Bureaucratic Madness

The path to ascension is paved with difficult choices. Dynamic events will test your leadership daily:

"An informant threatens to expose us. Eliminate the leak? (Risky Mission) or Discredit them? (-Influence)"

"Our stock of Blessed Crackers is depleted, and the new shipment is late. Send a follower to the store? (Waste time) or Perform a Ritual of Sustenance? (-Faith)"

"A follower suggests a 'Karaoke Night' to boost morale. Allow it? (+Follower retention, -Sundry Goods) or Deny such frivolities? (-Faith)"

Unlock the Tech-Tree of the Damned

Spend your hard-earned resources on a branching tree of Eldritch Rituals. Unlock minor boons for permanent bonuses or commit to grand, multi-stage rituals that can turn the chief of police to your cause or, ultimately, bring about the end of everything.

Rise. Manage. Bring about the end of days.

This is your cult. These are your rules. Provided you've filled out the requisition forms in triplicate.
