Dju

About the Game

"At first I could barely hit anything. Then I stopped missing altogether."

Dju's uncle taught her to shoot after she went to the triad. She ended up there once Mirai took her father, and she did things for the clan that she is not proud of.

That life is behind her. What she took with her is five family masks and an open account. The virus Mirai is finishing at the top of the tower is part of that account: once it is released, it will wipe out humanity and leave this world to the machines.

The lift in the tower only goes up.

MASKS

My father once told me about our family's masks — relics that hold the strength of our ancestors.

I took it for a pretty fairy tale.

Until one day I felt that there really was someone inside them.

Before each floor you put on one mask out of five. It rewrites your stats and grants an active ability.

Each mask can be chosen for one floor only. Five masks across five floors means you reach the boss with exactly one, and it is the one you did not spend below.

FLOORS

KILL THEM ALL sits at the top of the screen while a single enemy is still standing. Once the floor is clear it turns into FIND THE ELEVATOR.

An enemy closes to just inside its own range and shoots from there. Put a wall between you and it does not stay behind it, it walks to the nearest opening to get a clear line. The close-range ones hurt at point blank. The long-range ones keep you off. The armoured ones simply take a long time to run out.

In the elevator your health and ammo come back in full. You pick the next mask and ride up.
