An unorthodox tactical battle system:
Turns are split into 6 substeps, actions have varying substep durations and areas of effect. Slower actions might hit harder, while faster actions can be easier to land.
Both Player and Enemy units queue multiple actions ahead of time then execute them concurrently.
Time your actions and movements carefully to hit your opponents before they hit you.
Inspired by fighting game concepts such as footsies, frame data, and attack interruption.
Intuitive yet deep character builds for combat:
Equipping different weapons and clothing affects what actions you'll have available in combat; equipment can be combined to create synergies.
Level up through combat, exploration, and conversation. Reaching new levels lets you choose between unique passive bonuses.
