DESCENT -100

DESCENT -100

About the Game

DESCENT -100 is a dark, minimalist auto-battle roguelike about going down — and choosing how you suffer.

You descend through one hundred layers toward something waiting at the bottom.
Every layer presents a decision. No manual combat. No clicking enemies. No skill shots. When you enter a fight, your character attacks automatically. The outcome depends entirely on the build you shaped through risk, sacrifice, and restraint.

Each layer offers four paths:

  • A fracture that grants a random, sometimes corrupted buff.

  • A pit where you fight for experience and growth.

  • An altar where you sacrifice health to permanently increase critical chance.

  • A silence chamber to rest and recover.

Every ten layers, the abyss answers with a boss. Each one tests a different weakness. Builds that lean too heavily in one direction will eventually be punished. Survival requires balance, foresight, and a willingness to start over.

The deeper you go, the world changes. Reality tears. Symbols take over the environment. The descent becomes less physical and more ritual. By the time you reach the final layer, the world no longer resembles where you began.

Failure is expected. Death earns Ash, a meta-resource that slowly strengthens future runs. Progress is gradual. Reaching -100 is meant to feel earned.

Features:

  • Fully automated combat focused on strategic build decisions

  • Four distinct layer types with meaningful risk/reward tradeoffs

  • Ten unique bosses, one every ten layers

  • Escalating corruption that transforms the world visually and mechanically

  • Permanent progression through Ash

  • A stark, disturbing pixel-art horror aesthetic inspired by 90s indie atmosphere

DESCENT -100 is not about reflexes.
It is about choice.
It is about discipline.
It is about how far you are willing to go down.
