DERAIL
About the Game
DERAIL is a tiny labor of love, born from the obsession with old-school horror vibes and lonely places.
You play as a night watchman at a train station that time forgot. It’s just you, the ring of the phone, and the dark water stretching out into the fog. Your shift should be boring, the kind where you just drink cold coffee and wait for the sun, but tonight, a single phone call changes everything.
There’s a story hidden under these tracks, something about a disaster from decades ago that nobody wants to talk about.
What to expect:
A Short, Sharp Scare: Designed to be finished in one sitting. It's built for that specific feeling of "one more room" before you turn the lights off.
Atmosphere First: No massive open worlds here, just a tight, suffocating setting where every radio crackle feels like someone is standing right behind you.
A Mystery to Piece Together: You'll find old journals and fragmented transmissions. It’s up to you to figure out what really happened out here.
The Choice: At the end of the night, you’ll have to make a decision, but it's the kind of choice that stays with you after the game closes.
If you like short, moody stories that value "vibes" over jump-scares, I really hope you enjoy your shift at the station.
