Der Prozess: A Kafka Trial
About the Game
You only see what was recorded.
One morning Jo K.'s access is suspended. There is no crime, no accuser, no responsible office, only a status and a ticket. Her world lies in darkness. Wherever you look, it appears point by point from what the system has stored about her: a bed, a window, a corridor full of forms.
Holding on has a price.
You scan, reshape the data spaces, and hold on to moments before they are erased. But there are not enough points for everything. Whatever you keep is missing from the world you walk through. What you keep grows in a garden outside the record.
A trial in eleven chapters
From the first notice to the very end, the path leads through court offices, waiting rooms, a studio and a cathedral. Every chapter has its own colour world and its own form: a wall of empty phrases, a queue that resets with every input, a chain of responsibility that closes into a ring. You will not win the trial. But you can keep moments.
