VitaCare+ is the nation's largest health insurance provider. As a new Claims Adjuster, you are our first line of defense against unnecessary medical payouts.
You must maximize shareholder value by denying claims that violate our insurance policies. Operate under the assumption of patient fraud. Do not let patients' emotional stories reduce your productivity. A claim number is not a person.

TRAINING MANUAL - FOR INTERNAL USE ONLY
To ensure your success, you must master the VitaCare+ software. Your continued employment and financial survival depend on the following mechanics:
Document Inspection: You are required to manually drag, organize, and cross-reference digital paperwork on your screen. Compare X-rays, medical histories, and doctors' notes against the provided policy binder to find loopholes for denial.
High-Pressure Time Management: Management enforces a strict daily quota against a ticking clock. You must process claims fast enough to earn your wage, pay your rent, and afford your own VitaCare+ premiums, or face immediate termination.
Adapt to Changing Rules: Corporate policy changes overnight. A medical procedure that was fully covered on Monday might be an immediate denial by Wednesday. You are expected to adapt your strategy to survive the week.
Handle Client Repercussions: The files on your desk are not isolated. Your verdicts have ongoing consequences. Patients will attempt to contact your terminal as their conditions worsen over the course of your probation. You will encounter branching outcomes based on your approvals and denials. Any deviation from processing targets to address patient grievances will result in immediate wage deduction.
You have been granted terminal access with Class F security clearance. Performance, keystroke logging, and time-tracking metrics are now active. We expect to see you reach the targets set out by management.
