About the Game

Waiting for an Egg is a pixel-art idle companion about focus, patience, and the long wait for results.

Welcome to the Inspiration Farm. Your chickens enter long review cycles and grind for inspiration on their own. When luck is on your side, they lay an Inspiration Egg. Collect it for Funding, expand the coop, unlock breeds, and shape a desktop farm of your own.

Each chicken has limited inspiration and eventually retires. Choose breeds with different cycle times and result odds to set the pace of your wait.

• 5 Result Tiers Inspiration Eggs range from Q4 to TOP across five tiers, each with a different value.

• Expand Your Coop Begin with room for three chickens, then spend Funding to increase capacity.

• Focus Timer Use the built-in Pomodoro timer to manage real-world focus sessions and earn extra Funding.

• Saved Sticky Notes Keep tasks and sudden ideas close at hand, then move each note where it fits.

• Decorate Your Farm Unlock a variety of decorations with Funding, then zoom and pan around your farm.

• Adjustable Desktop Window Move and resize the game window. The interface scales with the window to fit different desktop layouts.
