Deforest a Planet

Deforest a Planet

About the Game

A whole planet covered in trees. Time to get to work.

Deforest a Planet is an incremental game about transforming peaceful forests into a rapidly expanding lumber operation.

Start with a single woodcutter and a modest axe. Sell timber and reinvest the money into sharper tools, faster workers, larger crews, and new lumbermills. Before long, hundreds of tiny workers will be spreading across the globe while the tree counter races toward zero.

Expand your Forces

Your workers handle the chopping. Your job is to make the operation grow.

Rivers and mountains divide the terrain, so the location of each mill is important. Watch your workers navigate the planet, identify the bottlenecks, and decide which upgrade will improve your workforce the most.

Upgrades!

Improve axe damage, walking and swinging speed, critical hits, and crew size. Place new lumbermills to shorten the travel into distant forests and keep timber flowing as the cleared land grows.

Prestige. Return stronger. Repeat.

Prestige when the time feels right and spend your points on permanent upgrades that carry across future runs.

Increase your damage, carry capacity, tree value, number of starting workers, and much more. Unlock powerful abilities such as swings that strike multiple trees, super mills that can be placed deep into the forests, and some secret super powers that will make clearing planets a breeze.

Take on Challenges

Clear planets under strict time limits or with a limited number of lumbermills to unlock powerful permanent rewards.
