Defentrix – New Graphics Update

We’ve added a new graphics system to Defentrix. Now you can decide yourself how sharp the game should look.

New Setting: enter a k value

There is now a text field in the game.
You can simply type a number with k to set the internal rendering resolution.

Important:
The k must be lowercase.

Examples:

• 0.4k → very low resolution (retro / Atari-like graphics)

• 1k → very high performance

• 4k → high graphics quality

• 8k → extremely sharp graphics

• 16k → maximum resolution

You can also enter other values such as 2k, 5k, 10k, or 12k.
The game will automatically adjust the internal rendering resolution.

Performance depends on your PC

The higher the number, the better the graphics. However, higher values also require more performance from your PC.

Mid-range PC

• 4k usually runs very well

• 8k often runs stable

Lower-end PCs

• 4k is recommended

• 16k works technically, but with low FPS

High-end PCs

• 8k runs very smoothly

• 16k can run without problems

Just try different values

You can change the k value anytime and see what your PC can handle.

• more FPS → lower number

• better graphics → higher number
