Welcome to the world of Daring Academy!

Daring Academy is a wholesome fantasy sci-fi futuristic visual novel that faces important lessons in romance and self-healing while focusing on familiar everyday moments. Along with Amelia Sweet and their younger sister Isabella Lullena, the player has to face the outcome of escaping a terrible past while discovering newly blooming feelings towards each other in this wholesome story filled with emotions.

Featuring:

• Customizable first and last name, nickname, gender, and pronoun for the main character

• A wholesome and sentimental journey on self-healing and romance alongside comforting friends

• Setting option for allowing/disabling swear words and uncomfortable/inappropriate terms, allowing you to experience the story exactly how you want it

Story:

Growing up in the little town of Hora, Lenny, Layla, or Lee (Ashford) Lullena (changeable first and last name) endured a painful childhood marked by abuse and emotional trauma from their parents. Branded as the troublesome kid for most of their life, they longed for a chance to leave the suffering behind and start over.

With the help of their older brother, Lavell, and close friends, they finally escape their past after graduating high school. Together with their 15-year-long childhood friend Amelia Sweet and younger sister Isabella Lullena, they move into a new apartment in the sprawling futuristic metropolis of Olis to attend the infamous Sacred Heart Academy.

But adulthood, city life, and college bring unexpected challenges. As you settle into your new environment, you begin to realize that your bond with Amelia may be something more than friendship.

Along the way, you'll meet an emotionally diverse cast of new friends—including Lily Cortez, Rose Wheatley, Elizabeth Robinson, Clementine Neonica, and Amora Luna—each ready to support you through the emotional highs and lows of this new chapter in your life.

Meet the crew:

Amelia Sweet
The main character’s childhood best friend. Now 18, she has always stayed by their side, supporting them through pain and hardship. After 15 years of friendship, their bond remains as strong as ever.

She enrolls at Sacred Heart Academy in a general teaching course, hoping to become a teacher and share the kindness she once gave the player with children across Olis—and beyond.

Amelia is kind and caring, but often emotionally reserved, choosing not to openly express her feelings. She tends to keep to herself and rarely interacts with others outside of her closest friend.

Will you grow closer to her, or drift apart and remain only best friends?

Lily Cortez
Don’t be fooled by her shy, gentle appearance—Lily Cortez carries more than a few hidden scars. Now 17, she studies Letter and Communication Arts at Sacred Heart Academy, hoping to understand and overcome the emotions she’s buried deep inside.

Dance is her greatest passion, but she also explores music and painting, each art form becoming another way to process her pain. After the loss of her mother, Lily slowly withdrew from the world, even as those closest to her—especially Rose Wheatley—tried everything to reach her.

Rose Wheatley
Rose Wheatley is the kind of person who notices everything—sometimes even before it happens. An 18-year-old Psychology student at Sacred Heart Academy, she’s determined to understand people’s emotions, especially Lily’s.

Outgoing and energetic on the surface, Rose hides a more complicated emotional side shaped by pressure from her upbringing and family expectations. Despite everything, she stays close to Lily, doing her best to help her friend heal while quietly fighting her own struggles.

Elizabeth Robinson
Elegant, mysterious, and unexpectedly intense-Elizabeth Robinson feels almost unreal at times.

An 18-year-old Law student at Sacred Heart Academy, she thrives in debate and never backs down from an argument. Normally kind and composed, Elizabeth becomes fiercely competitive when challenged, pushing every discussion to its absolute limit.

Some say she feels like she stepped out of a dream... and maybe she did.

Clementine Neonica
Don't be surprised if she seems to be living in a world of her own creation, she likes it that way.

An 18-year-old studying Letter and Communication Arts, she embraces her dramatic "chūnibyő" persona as a way to fight back against the emptiness she once felt growing up in Olis. Her imagination transforms reality into something bigger, darker, and far more exciting.

But behind the theatrics, Clementine is still just a girl trying to find meaning-and sometimes, her mask slips.

Amora Luna
Known online as "Amorable," Amora Luna is a rising content creator and streamer with a bright future ahead.

A freshman at Sacred Heart Academy studying videography, she's passionate about turning her creative hobbies into a full-time career. Despite her growing popularity, Amora remains grounded, kind, and deeply committed to her friends and family.

Isabella Lullena
Younger sister of the protagonist and sister-adjacent of Amelia Sweet, Isabella Lullena, is a 16-year-old survivor of a painful and unstable childhood.

Scarred by abuse and struggling with depression and self-worth, she still finds strength in art and music-her quiet escape from the past. Despite everything, Isabella refuses to give up on a better future, slowly rebuilding herself alongside her siblings and closest friends.

She may struggle with overwhelming emotions at times, but beneath it all is someone who deeply wants to connect and be understood.
