Culprits of a Feather

Culprits of a Feather

About the Game

> Who are you?

You’re Jessica Howards, a young woman that’s just arrived in town, and now is facing a crowd of enraged civilians that are convinced you might be a murderer. It’s rather unfortunate that those murders started just when you arrived in town, is it not?

> Where are you?

Elderwood; an ancient, small, town hidden in the woods, in the middle of nowhere.

> What’s going on?

You, along with three other people, have been accused of being the actors of a series of brutal murders that have been happening for weeks now. The townsfolk are out for blood, and unless you manage to clean your name in time, you’re the one that’s gonna pay the price.

> What should you expect?

  • Immersive conversations: Be careful with what you do- the people will react, and remember. Immerse yourself in complex conversations that may change as you advance in them, featuring a cast of unique individuals with their own personalities, moods, and information.

  • Find clues, make arguments: Find clues through investigation and testimony, and then, weave them together into a convincing argument! Beware, though, for not every word is trustworthy, and not every road leads to the truth.

  • Four culptits, four storylines: Explore four different, interconnected, storylines at once, each with their own mysteries. Will they bring you closer to the truth, or push you further away from your investigation?

  • Reactive branching narratives: Explore multiple endings that will react to your decisions, characters that remember your actions, and fates that may not be completely under your control.

  • Unique and stunning visuals: Beautiful art, VFX, and music, to immerse yourself into the crimes of Elderwood.

  • A story made with love: By us, for you. Crafted by the hands of our artists, writers, musicians, and computer wizards (programmers), as well as your continuous support!
