Crumbeats

About the Game

Break Crumbs. Build the beat.

Crumbeats is a minimalist music-driven incremental arcade game where every action feeds the rhythm.

Revive a silent speaker and move through an abstract field of Crumbs. Your waves pulse with the beat, breaking shapes apart, releasing Echoes, and slowly turning simple impacts into a layered musical system.

A simple loop with musical consequences

Move, position yourself, and let your speaker's waves do the work. Each run starts small, but every destroyed Crumb helps you grow stronger, faster, louder, and more rhythmic.

  • Emit waves on the beat
  • Break Crumbs and release Echoes
  • Collect Echoes during each run
  • Buy upgrades between runs
  • Increase wave damage, radius, tempo, Groove duration, Crumb quantity, and more

Unlock instruments

As you progress, the board becomes more musical.

  • Guitar links Crumbs together and resolves them rhythmically.
  • Bass sends heavy directional shockwaves through dense clusters.
  • Piano creates pulsing resonance effects around contaminated Crumbs.

Each instrument changes both the sound and the way you read the board.

Enter the Groove

Collect enough Echoes to trigger Groove mode. During Groove, one instrument takes the lead, effects intensify, and the screen becomes more reactive to the rhythm.

The stronger your build becomes, the more each run starts to sound like a track forming around your actions.

Minimalist, abstract, readable

Crumbeats uses simple shapes, shadows, waves, and particles to keep the screen readable while the music grows more complex.

The goal is not to overwhelm you with noise, but to make every upgrade feel like a new layer being added to the system.
