In Conqueror of the Seas, medieval empires collide across stormy waters. Fire broadsides, unleash Greek fire, ram enemy hulls, and drop barrel bombs to dominate the waves. Team up with friends or sail alone as you fight for supremacy between the Ottoman and Byzantine alliances.

Choose Your Kingdom and Allegiance

Begin your journey by choosing your kingdom — Holy Roman Empire, England, France, Ottoman, Russia, Spain, or Venice.
Each nation grants distinct navigation bonuses, crew traits, or combat advantages that shape your captain’s style.

Once your kingdom is chosen, you’ll pledge allegiance to one of two great powers:

• The Ottoman Alliance

• The Byzantine Alliance

Your kingdom’s banner and your alliance’s flag will both define your identity on the seas of war.

Command and Customize

Select your ship and shape it into a weapon of war.

Square-rigged brigs dominate with heavy cannons and downwind speed, while lateen-rigged vessels excel in agile manoeuvres upwind.

Upgrade your fittings, crew, and armaments to adapt to the shifting balance of naval warfare.

Master the Wind

Every voyage is a duel with nature.

Harness the wind direction to gain speed, position your broadsides, or retreat through the waves to repair and regroup.

Only captains who read the wind survive the storm.

Dynamic Naval Combat

Experience brutal and tactical real-time ship combat where positioning, timing, and precision decide your fate.

• Broadside Cannons: Deliver devastating volleys to shred enemy hulls.

• Ramming Damage: Use your ship’s mass and momentum to crush foes in close combat.

• Fire Arrows & Barrel Bombs: Ignite decks or set floating traps to control sea zones.

• Greek Fire: Wield this fearsome weapon in two ways — project flaming jets directly at enemy ships or spill it onto the sea to form a burning trap that ignites any who dare to approach.

Holy Reinforcements

Turn the tide of war through divine intervention.
When the seas burn and empires falter, call upon Holy Reinforcements to rally your side:

• Crusade: Summon Christian holy fleets to strike in the name of the Cross.

• Jihad: Unleash Ottoman reinforcements blessed for holy war.

Both powers can summon colossal support galleons, carrying supplies, firepower, or divine fury — a last stand or a glorious advance when all seems lost.

Rise as a Legendary Captain

Earn experience and reputation by winning battles, capturing flags, and leading your crew to glory.
