About the Game

Welcome to the company

We're glad to have you. You start with the small stuff: tightening screws, keeping the generator running, making sure the line never stops. Hit your numbers, buy a few upgrades, watch the money go up. Honest work, mostly.

Why do it all yourself?

So you hire workers to handle the tasks for you. They're cheap and they don't complain much. And when one of them stops being useful, well, nothing here goes to waste. Everything is a resource if you look at it the right way.

You're not alone in the office

There's a little assistant keeping you company. It's friendly, it's encouraging, and it's surprisingly willing to help out the day you decide your manager has been in the way for too long. Or the manager above them.

Climb the ladder. Then remove it.

You optimize, automate, harvest, and push the numbers ever higher. You climb the company by quietly taking apart the people above you, until there's no one left above you. It's an incremental game with a horror skin. Honestly, it's just what going to work feels like to me.

How long is it?

Company Is Watching is a short game. Most players reach an ending in about two hours, and there are two endings to find. It's finished and playable from start to end: what you buy today is a complete game, not a work in progress.

I'm still working on it. Updates are announced on this page and in the Discord, and the feedback in the reviews decides what I do first.
