The Gameplay
You explore a small island in first person with only a lantern to guide you. The goal is simple: restore the lighthouse before the ship hits the rocks. Getting there means navigating the island, picking up and carrying objects, operating machinery, and solving the puzzles standing between you and the beacon.
The island stays the same every run. What changes is what you know. Each loop you come back with a better understanding of where things are, how the machinery works, and what needs to happen for everything to go right.
The Story
The lighthouse didn't go dark on its own. The previous keeper lived on this island alone, and what's left of him is scattered across it. Journals, notes, the slow record of a mind coming apart. Following that trail is one half of the story.
The other half finds you. Strange anomalies hidden across the island reveal fragments of travelers from beyond the present. They have been watching. They need you to succeed. And the more you understand about why, the stranger the night becomes.
The Series
Clairvoyage is a series of short, self-contained horror experiences, each set in a different time and place. The Lighthouse is the first entry. Every entry is built around a single intense scene that you play through in one sitting and think about after. There's a larger story running underneath all of them, but it reveals itself slowly across the series.
