Childwood

Childwood

About the Game

In Childwood, you play as a giant afflicted by a mysterious disease. To survive, you must earn gold by entertaining a cruel audience through a macabre game: helping a group of children survive in a hostile environment. Feed a campfire to protect them from night creatures, but your kin won’t hesitate to demand immoral sacrifices in exchange for rewards.

SURVIVAL AND SACRIFICE

Manage a campfire to repel night creatures and keep the children alive. Gather resources and build structures to extend their survival. Choose between ethics and spectacle: give in to your audience’s cruel demands to earn gold, or preserve your humanity at the risk of losing everything.

A DYNAMIC AUDIENCE

our audience isn’t passive. It judges you, challenges you, and oscillates between kindness and cruelty. Every decision shapes the moral alignment of your community:

  • Fulfill their whims to earn rewards.

  • Refuse their requests and risk losing their support.

AN INSIDIOUS DISEASE

Your giant is consumed by an illness that distorts his perception. The further it spreads, the deeper you sink into madness. Visual and auditory hallucinations cloud your judgment. Use your hard-earned gold to buy serums that slow the infection.

A HOSTILE AND MYSTERIOUS WORLD

Every new biome is a unique trial. Rules shift, threats evolve, and the children rely on you to uncover the secrets of their environment.
