About the Game

Crimson Banner: War of Liberation places you in command of the People's Liberation Army as it fights across the length and breadth of China during the all-out Liberation War. Starting from the Central Plains Breakout in 1946, you will employ your command skills to tenaciously defend against and ultimately shatter the Nationalists' full-scale offensive. Then, in the decisive three great campaigns, you will turn the tide and annihilate the main forces of the Nationalist army. Finally, cross the Yangtze River and liberate all of China!

The gameplay framework of this title is built upon the excellent entry-level war chess game series "Unity of Command" and has been deeply adapted and improved upon.
