About the Game

Chesstris is a mix of puzzle and visual novel. Instead of moving pieces like in traditional chess, you drop them from above. Your goal is to checkmate all rival kings while avoiding checkmating your own.

But the biggest mystery of Chesstris is centered around You. All characters you meet, for some reason, know you well. Every choice you make matters. Picking right words can reveal secrets, while reckless replies can ruin friendships or even complicate the puzzles you face.

Prefer to focus only on the puzzles? Chesstris also lets you play them separately from the story.

Every turn you get a piece that you have to precisely drop to checkmate rival kings, but avoid checkmating your kings.

Meet different puzzle architects, each with their own puzzle gimmicks.

Unearth the reasons behind discontinued friendships. Your choices shape the story.

Traverse the interactive puzzle map. Some of your choices might reveal secret levels on the map.

Utilize given tools to overcome the hardest puzzles. "Show Checks" Button will reveal all the squares under attack.
