About the Game

🗝️ Key Features

🎯 Tactical Chess-Pattern Combat
Move freely on a clean 8×8 board while your weapons auto-attack along true chess lines (Rook, Bishop, Knight, etc.). Positioning = damage.

💓 Reactive Enemies + Global Heartbeat
No turns. Enemies telegraph and react to your steps, with a global heartbeat that injects micro-attacks and keeps pressure high.

🃏 Snap-Cast Cards (Timed Buffs)
Start each wave with a fixed 4-card hand from your collection. Click to unleash short, rule-bending buffs (e.g., +50% damage for 5s). Cards are consumed on use.

🧩 Pre-Fight Attachments (No Mid-Fight Socketing)
Before combat, socket cards into weapons (2 slots each) and armor to define your baseline build. Attachments can’t be changed mid-fight.

Energy = Rerolls, Not Turns
Earn Energy from kills and spend it to Refresh/Reroll your card offers mid-wave. No turn costs—only build agility.

🌈 Element Passives & Fusions
Pick an element (Fire / Ice / Lightning / Nature / Shadow / Light) for a passive, then combine with weapon elements to trigger fusions like Frostfire, Hellfire, Storm, Twilight, Wildfire, and more.

🌪️ Arena Modifiers & Mini-Objectives
Rotating board mutators—Blazing Board, Frozen Winds, Storm Surge, Cursed Ground—paint tiles with hazards and perks. Optional mini-objectives award bonus loot.

👑 Elites, Bosses & Endless Scaling
Elites spike the pacing; bosses arrive with multi-phase patterns and heartbeat micro-bursts. Climb from Easy → Insane → Endless, unlocking Element Awakenings for big power spikes.

💎 Rewards, Upgrades & Shop Flow
After each successful wave: take a Card RewardOpen it now (add to your pool) or Keep it for later—then hit the Shop for weapons and armor. Roll quality scales with Luck and wave depth, keeping paths strong without RNG chaos.

🎭 Progression & Customization
Choose an archetype and element, collect permanent cards, expand the Codex, earn coins (including harvesting income), and autosave after every wave.

Cinematic Readability
Aim lasers, pattern previews, telegraphs, and floating damage/crit/heal text—stylish VFX that celebrate every clutch dodge…and every misstep.
