About the Game

Match 3. Break everything. Run it back.

Cat 3 takes the cozy match-3 board you know and launches it into deep space. Line up three or more cosmic cats.. or make a 2x2 square to clear them and strike the enemy. Create rockets, bombs, and Color Stars, then combine them into screen-clearing chain reactions. It's a match-3 at heart, a roguelite in structure, and a bullet-heaven in spirit.

Pick your hero

Start each run with one of four heroes, each with a run-defining perk and a chargeable special ability:

• Peridot — she likes money. Earns bonus gold on every match. Special: Gold Rush.

• Birdie — tanky and tenacious, with a fat max-HP cushion. Special: Feather Barrier.

• Carrot Cake — sweet lifesteal that keeps you in the fight. Special: Cat Nap.

• French Fry — pure aggression, with a big damage boost. Special: Grease Fire.

Draft a build, not just a board

Match four cats to create rockets, form L and T shapes for bombs, or line up five for a Color Star. Detonate power-ups directly or combine two together for much bigger effects.

Clear a wave and the shop opens: pick from rarity-tiered upgrade cards that stack in wild ways, now topped by a super-rare Legendary tier with build-defining numbers. Sharper claws, crit chains, cascade bonuses, auto-damage, lifesteal, cat magnets and more. Spend gold to Refine a card up a rarity before you take it. Bring run-items like the Catnip Bomb, Laser Pointer, and Milk Bowl to bail yourself out of a tight board.

Fight through the waves... and the bosses!

Enemies telegraph their next hit so you can plan your swaps. Every fifth wave is a boss that puts your whole build to the test. Every tenth wave opens the Milestone Market. Spend your run gold on power-ups and a rarity-rolled relic before you push on.

Win at Wave 50, then go Endless

Wave 50 is a real victory now. Bank the win and retire a champion, or take the exact same build into Endless Mode, where the caps come off and exclusive cosmic-tier upgrades join the shop. See how deep the cosmos really goes.

~Pull the Pawcha~

Earn Cosmic Shards from bosses and spend them on the Pawcha to collect cosmic relics.

Vampire Fang, Glass Cannon, Midas Paw, Berserker Bell, Twin Souls, Cosmic Overload and more. Equip up to three on a hero to bend a run in your favor. Pull duplicates of a maxed relic to earn Echoes that Ascend it through permanent power tiers.

Grow between runs

Bank Star Catnip and invest it in the Cosmic Tree. a global talent tree plus a tree for each hero to carry permanent power into your next attempt. Every loss makes the next run stronger.

Plan the perfect build

Click your stat sheet mid-run to pause the fight and open the full Build Details panel: every stat, the real numbers after your multipliers, caps, magnets, relics, and enemy intel. Review your whole build while you draft, too.

Your music, your rules

Cycle a full soundtrack of cosmic tunes, pin your favorite, or open the playlist panel to un-check songs you're tired of. Prefer to keep jamming through boss waves? One toggle turns boss music off and lets your playlist ride.

Or just relax

Flip on Peaceful Mode for an endless, no-combat, no-pressure board and climb the Steam high-score leaderboard.
