CardForge
About the Game
Overview
CardForge is a single-player turn-based card strategy game centered around characters.
In the game, every character card can be deeply edited and constructed, and has the potential to become the core of a deck.
In CardForge, cards are categorized into role cards, creature cards, building cards, and spell cards.
Players do not simply "choose a character", but can freely adjust the attributes and direction of their character cards, allowing the same character to assume completely different roles in different constructions.
The core fun of the game comes from the experience of building on two levels:
The construction approach for a single character card itself
Overall deck synergy between character cards and other cards
Each character card is designed to possess independent tactical potential, rather than having a fixed purpose.
Combat and Systems
Turn-based card battle, emphasizing planning and resource management
Support a comprehensive deck editing and card transformation system
Equipped with state and state response mechanisms, it encourages chain and combination strategies
Single-player mode, focusing on contemplating and experimenting with different building possibilities
Story and characters
Each character card in CardForge corresponds to an independent short story.
As a "transcender" capable of traversing through multidimensional worlds, the player will encounter various characters in different worlds and establish deep connections beyond mere romantic relationships in multiple forms.
The story does not progress linearly, but unfolds around the characters themselves, serving as an additional layer of experience beyond construction and combat.
Regarding the current version
CardForge is still in the development stage.
The current version is primarily intended for testing the core combat system and building gameplay experience, with ongoing improvements being made to certain UI, art, and content elements.
