Cardborne Dawn of War
About the Game
🃏 CARDBORNE: DAWN OF WAR
A grim single-player card roguelike where every draw decides your fate — fight, heal, or fall to the suits that once ruled the world.
🩸 About the Game
In a world where the suits once lived in harmony — the Diamonds forged weapons, the Hearts healed, and the Spades and Clubs defended — the Aces broke the law and shattered the balance.
Now, only the Cardborne remain, drawing their fate one hand at a time.
You are the last to walk the path between the suits.
Every card is a choice: fight, heal, or perish.
♦ Gameplay
Draw Rooms: Each room contains four cards — enemies, weapons, or hearts. Choose your next move carefully.
Weapons (♦ Diamonds): Equip them to fight stronger enemies or discard to empower your current weapon.
Enemies (♣ & ♠): Each attack tests your weapon’s endurance or your own health.
Hearts (♥): Heal yourself… or sacrifice them for power.
Jokers: Unlock special abilities after victories — permanent, passive, and often dangerous.
Melee & Ranged Combat: Melee chains enemies of equal or lower value; ranged weakens enemies from afar.
Escape Mechanic: You can escape a room once every two turns — but not twice in a row.

The suits once lived in harmony, in craft, in life, in loyalty.
But Aces broke the binding law, high and low, a fatal flaw.
The Darks then rose, their bond was sealed, the Reds were chained, their voices sealed.
War consumed the deck of old, a tale of silence, dark and cold.
Yet fate has drawn a hand anew, a chosen one to cut straight through.
To face the Dark, endure the test, and bring the deck to balance, rest.
