About the Game

Carcerem is a realistic first-person horror game. Step into the eerie corridors of an ancient labyrinth. From its depths come terrifying roars and sounds reminiscent of prisoners’ screams. Explore the maze to uncover its mysteries — the deeper you go, the more dangerous it becomes.

The protagonist, sent to the labyrinth as punishment for a crime, learns that anyone who escapes will be granted pardon. Determined to win his freedom, he’s ready to fight no matter what it takes.

The labyrinth is a stone prison built centuries ago. Thousands — perhaps tens of thousands — of prisoners have wandered through its halls over the ages, yet none have ever escaped.

Gameplay

• Puzzle Solving. Ancient puzzles, devised and constructed centuries ago, will test your ingenuity and resourcefulness. Little is known about how they work.

• Item and Clue Search. For a prisoner, nothing is more precious than a found item or clue. These may help you progress and bring you closer to solving the labyrinth’s secrets.

• Danger at Every Step. You can never relax inside the maze — traps may lurk around every corner.

Mysteries and Myths of the Labyrinth

• Is it even possible to escape? No newcomer knows the way out. You must discover for yourself whether an exit exists.

• Are the rumors true about the roars echoing from the labyrinth’s depths? What creature has guarded it all this time?

• Are there any survivors still inside? If you meet them, how dangerous could that encounter be?
