Captain Contraption’s Safari Park
About the Game
You’re helping a robot historian study humanity, one doomed park at a time.
You'll clone everything from lions and tigers to medieval knights and sentient delivery trucks, simply to understand your long-extinct creators. Mix, match and exhibit strange specimens in a safari park
A simulated sandbox with no fences, enclosures or control.
Every creature in your park acts on its own instincts. Populations rise and fall as animals compete for food and predators hunt their prey. With no fences and no enclosures, nothing stays where you put it. Keeping the park alive and visitors satisfied means staying one step ahead of an ecosystem that won't do as it's told. of your design, all while making sure there is enough money, food and mysterious green goop to keep it alive.
You don’t control the animals. You control the visitors.
Your tour guides diligently follow the routes you design, leading the visitors to the most exciting sights in the park. Get it right and you’ll have paying customers, get it wrong and you’ll have free food for the new dinosaur exhibit.
Experiment, break things, try again.
Every run you build something, you learn something. Then your park gets destroyed, all so we robotkind can do a little better next time. As you satisfy more visitors you’ll unlock new creatures, attractions and systems that give you more control. So don’t get attached - things will go spectacularly wrong.
