About the Game

Business 98 is a roguelike deckbuilder/business simulator about being an employee for a 90s Dot Com company where you process payments, while managing customer requests, company goals, and benchmarks. 

It puts you in the hands of an employee in late 90s America. The Dot Com Boom is taking place and you are given the opportunity to participate. A new startup called 'The Shopping Company' has created an up and coming e-commerce software for the future and your the lucky employee who gets to test it.

In this Roguelike Deck builder set in a retro pc, you process customers payments, while juggling customer complaints, sales benchmarks, and other shenanigans. 

Manage you and the companies finances. Increase your overall net worth by productively processing payments, but be careful, overpayment or underpayment doesn't just mess with your customer rating but also messes with your bank account.
