Reclaim the Rails

Bullet Express is a high-octane rogue-lite where you play as a prototype robot on a mission of reclamation. Your creator’s crowning achievement, the super-high-tech Bullet Express, has been hijacked by the rogue Conductor. To take back control, you must fight your way through the speeding cars of a train that never stops.

Gems are the Ammo...

On the Bullet Express, gems aren't just loot, they are your firepower. Every gem you find transforms your scrap starting weapon into something new. Slot a Spread Gem for shotgun blasts, or a Charge Gem for devastating charged strikes.

...But Synergy is the Weapon

The real power lies in the Forge. By upgrading your gems during a run, you can craft permanent specialized weapons based on those very same powers at the hub.

When you take a crafted weapon into a run, it merges with the gems you find:

  • The Base: Start with your crafted Charge Weapon.

  • The Synergy: Loot a Spread Gem mid-run.

  • The Result: You now have a Charging Shotgun, the longer you hold the trigger, the more bullets you unleash.

With at least 10 unique gem types, you can discover over 100 explosive combinations.

The Machine Evolves

You aren't just building a better weapon, you’re building a better bot. Use scrap recovered from the train to overhaul your chassis and internal systems at the hub.

Features:

  • 100+ Unique Weapon Combinations: Deep merging mechanics ensure no two runs feel the same. Will you build a rapid-fire shredder or a slow-moving orbital strike?

  • Permanent Rogue-lite Progression: Upgrade your robot’s parts and forge new permanent weapons to ensure you return to the fight stronger than you left.

  • Procedural Levels: Fight through procedurally generated levels, each packed with new mutated threats and evolving loot.

  • High-Tech Combat: Master twitch-reflex movement and complex weapon synergies to defeat the Conductor’s mutated army.
