About the Game

Brave New Wonders is a factory automation strategy simulation game with AI automatons. In a post-apocalyptic world, you can command automatons with plain text instructions in any language to explore ruins, battle with enemies, expand factories, automate production lines and build your amazing wonders.

Command Your Automatons With Text Instructions

There are no conveyor belts in this game. Instead, automatons follow your instructions to transport materials. You can choose from simple preset behaviours, or fully customize your automatons by writing any text instruction that comes to mind. Need some help? The behaviour editor will guide you to create new instructions. And it’s not just the automatons, factories and wonders that can be customized to signal and work with each other. Use your imagination to make automatons collaborate and interact with their environment, buildings, anything you want. The sky is not the limit!

Explore Ruins From The Last Civilization

In a world where civilization ended thousands of years ago, a new era has awakened with no memory of the past. As you wander this post-apocalyptic land, you’ll discover ruins of the old civilizations, some still guarded by old-world machines. Battle is inevitable. Equip your army, uncover the mysteries, find out what happened to the past civilization, and collect relics to inspire the rise of your new creation.

Build Your Own Custom Tech Tree

You can explore different paths of evolution by making use of the relics you find. Each decision unlocks different technologies, shaping the branching of your tech tree. Your choices ensure that every playthrough is unique and often surprising.

Explore Distinct Islands With Massive Airship

There are different islands in this world, with distinct landscapes and biomes. Some Islands are rich in resources, while others offer breakthroughs in technology. You’ll harness their unique advantages and travel between them on your massive airship, which is also an airborne fleet of factories.

City From Naught is an indie game studio based in Toronto. The name comes from our aspiration to build a city in the virtual world out of nowhere - a city that belongs to us and everyone else. We focus on creating immersive gaming experiences since 2019. Brave New Wonders features a novel form of gameplay.
