About the Game

BoxR is a precision stomp game. Land on top of boxes. Get clipped by a side and you are done.

This is a full remake of the original. Same nasty loop, new look, and a lot more to unlock. Out of Early Access as of August 29, 2026.

Classic: one run, boxes keep stacking. Unlock hats, box skins, and biomes as you stomp.

Roguelike: waves, upgrades, and a pile of bad decisions. Hoard powerups and see if you still remember how to jump.

Speedrun Classic: 99 boxes at once, a wall-clock timer, and a best time only on a full clear. A death never counts as a record.

Speedrun Roguelite: five start-only drafts, then the same 99-box race and best-time rules.

New best times and new Classic or Roguelike high scores get Share and Copy, one clean line such as BoxR Speedrun Classic 1:23.45.

Controller support, Steam Cloud saves, Windows and Mac, and 28 achievements if you want to get weird about it.

Hint: do not camp the spawn. The box that kills you is usually the one you did not look at.
