ABOUT THIS GAME

Bow & Banner is a story-driven medieval archer-career RPG about more than hitting a target.

You play as Kaden of Bracken, a young archer drawn from home and into a growing war. What begins with learning to handle the longbow develops into marches, hunts, scouting missions, battlefield formations, desperate close combat and large-scale battles.

Every part of the campaign belongs to Kaden’s story. Training matters. Survival matters. The soldiers around you matter. And the decisions you make can change the path that follows.

LIVE THE CAREER OF AN ARCHER

Begin with the fundamentals of the bow and grow into the responsibilities of a campaign soldier.

Train, hunt, march, scout, fight and survive as Kaden’s place in the army changes over the course of the war.

You are not simply completing isolated challenges. Each part of the game represents another piece of Kaden’s campaign.

MASTER THE LONGBOW

Learning to shoot is only the beginning.

Judge distance, read the battlefield and commit to the shot. Hunt moving prey, practice your marksmanship and learn when one well-placed arrow matters more than a dozen rushed shots.

COMMAND MASS VOLLEYS

Eventually, Kaden becomes responsible for more than his own arrow.

Fight among formations of longbowmen and influence the battle through coordinated volleys. Judge the range, control timing and choose when your archers should release as enemy formations close.

Poor decisions cost more than points.

They cost soldiers.

SURVIVE BETWEEN BATTLES

A soldier’s war does not begin and end when armies meet.

Hunt when supplies run short. Forage for what the company needs. Scout enemy positions. Treat the wounded. Move quietly when discovery could turn a mission into disaster.

The campaign repeatedly asks Kaden to survive the spaces between the major battles.

WHEN THE BOW ISN’T ENOUGH

Battle does not always stay at a comfortable distance.

Enemies can reach Kaden. Missions can go wrong. Formations can collapse into close combat.

When that happens, survival may come down to a dagger, timing and whether you keep your nerve.

YOUR DECISIONS LEAVE A MARK

Kaden can earn trust, lose it, protect people, abandon them, obey orders, question them and live with what follows.

Your decisions influence relationships, reputation, battlefield circumstances and the direction Kaden’s story takes.

Some paths are obvious.

Others are much harder to find.

A WAR YOU HAVE TO SURVIVE

Bow & Banner is not about becoming an unstoppable hero.

You will not always save everyone.
You will not always make the perfect shot.
Not every victory will be clean.

Failure, casualties and consequences are part of Kaden’s campaign.

For players seeking greater stakes, additional difficulty options include a harsher Hardcore experience.
