The world ended long ago. Its flesh has curdled to mud, its bones have crumbled to ash, its veins lie petrified and empty.

Its anatomy can barely support its own bloated, rotting corpse. Yet in this most broken of worlds, some things still remain. Unaware of their lot, unaware of their purpose, the Thoughtless lie in sleep. So ever faint was the whisper that reached your slumbering corpse. For you have not truly withered, but cling to the little you have left as it fades. You have awakened, so long have you been gone you have forgotten what you are.

You have seen the world for what it truly is and can never return to your rest. You will surely perish.
