Blood Without a Name

Blood Without a Name

About the Game

Blood Without a Name is a fully voiced dark fantasy political life sim about inheritance, legitimacy, family cruelty, and the price of becoming powerful.

You are Darian Veyrath, the illegitimate son of House Veyrath, a noble family ruling one of the realm’s richest wine and grain regions. When a wealthy relative dies and leaves you a vast fortune, you become too valuable to dismiss and too dangerous to welcome.

From childhood through adolescence and into adulthood, every season changes what Darian knows, whom he trusts, and what others believe he might become. Endure your family’s contempt, uncover buried truths, cultivate alliances, and decide what kind of lord could emerge from a child no one intended to respect.

Grow Up Beneath Watching Eyes

Darian does not begin with authority. His father still rules the estate, his relatives control the family’s reputation, and adults often speak freely because they believe a child cannot threaten them.

Listen. Remember. Decide when to remain quiet and when being underestimated has become an advantage.
Build Power Before You Inherit It
Develop Darian’s Wit, Resolve, Guile, and Reputation through the choices you make. Relationships are more than numbers. Trust, affection, fear, resentment, and respect can open new approaches or close them entirely.

Pursue personal objectives, earn lasting rewards, or knowingly abandon a path when its cost becomes too high.

Rule Through Consequence

As Darian’s authority grows, manage the House, Region, and Domains under his influence. Direct projects and mandates, respond to political pressure, and watch management decisions return as new narrative consequences.

The Journal records objectives, relationships, secrets, political memory, and the history Darian is creating.

Investigate, Negotiate, and Command

Not every crisis is resolved through a single dialogue choice. Examine evidence, conduct negotiations, navigate council votes, issue orders during emergencies, and make decisions through the map.

Longer story chains unfold across multiple seasons, while quieter interludes such as meals, letters, travel, grief, and household observations reveal what political decisions do to the people living beneath them.

Politics Is Personal

Speak privately with relatives, servants, officers, clergy, workers, and political advisors. These conversations respond naturally to Darian’s history and relationships.

Court potential spouses, weigh their families and ambitions, and decide whether marriage should become an alliance, a refuge, a weapon, or something more difficult to name.
