About the Game

Black Sword is a narrative-driven light RPG set in a dark fantasy world shaped by ancient curses and forgotten history. You play as a lone knight on pilgrimage to Canterbury, only to find the city afflicted by a dark plague.

Gameplay is built around turn-based combat and dice-roll skill checks inspired by tabletop RPGs. Dialogue choices and key story moments are resolved through skills such as strength, dexterity, intelligence, charisma, stealth, and redemption, allowing multiple ways to overcome obstacles.

Combat is tactical and features a holy relic that allows you to freeze enemies, a vampiric feeding ability, and a VATS-style targeting system.

You will explore ancient Saxon tombs, decipher long-forgotten runes, and uncover the dark secret of the Black Sword.
