Between Two Lights
About the Game
September, 2030. A disaster engulfs the continent: people are losing their memory en masse, disappearing without a trace from the streets, while a series of brutal murders spreads panic among the population. The State Security Service launches an investigation, trying to determine who is behind what is happening. Digging through the archives, the agents stumble upon what seems to be yet another routine inspection — the research institute SEC, officially engaged in the development of bioengineering. However, suspicions are raised by the fact that the institute is purchasing significant volumes of weaponry from private corrupt military companies.
Between Two Lights is an adventure shooter that raises the theme of awareness of what is happening and the value of personal choice. The player must decide: give in to love and escape without ever uncovering the truth, or sacrifice everything to learn it.
The main character is an agent of the State Security Service, operating undercover as a detective. He is tasked with finding out whether the SEC organization is involved in the unrest that has swept the country, and what connection all of this has to the project to create a “God.” As the investigation progresses, the hero realizes that he is being led by the nose, and a simple assignment gradually turns into a personal vendetta.

Explore the world when it truly matters.
The game world does not hold your hand.
Resources, modules, and weapons are hidden within the environment and are available only if you carefully explore the world.
Find and solve hidden puzzles embedded within the game world.
Help random passersby — their side stories may lead to unique rewards: character upgrades, rare modules, or even new weapons.
Exploration here is not a mandatory checklist, but a conscious choice that directly affects your capabilities and playstyle.
Every weapon is unique.
The game features fully procedural weapon physics.
Recoil, spread, and firing behavior — everything is generated dynamically and reinforced by detailed animation. No two guns are the same.
You can’t just pick up a gun and pull the trigger here.
Each weapon must be felt — how it behaves in combat, how it reacts to movement, rate of fire, and stressful situations. Choosing the wrong weapon before a mission is not a minor mistake, but a potentially fatal decision.
Over time, you decide for yourself which weapon truly fits your playstyle.
