Beasts of Ephesus

About the Game

Build the Team. Call the Fight. Turn Victory Into Freedom.

You are the manager of Dawn—not a fighter on the sand. In Nero-era Ephesus, every arena purse must carry the company through the next week and move someone closer to freedom.

Manage Three Different Fights

Every league match opens with a 5v5 all-out battle, narrows to a 3v3 formation fight, and reaches a 2v2 decider if needed. Win two sets to take the match.

  • Build a separate lineup and plan for 5v5, 3v3, and 2v2.
  • Pause the action, change the team's approach, focus a target, or move between 1x, 2x, and 4x speed.
  • Decide when an ace can afford another set as condition, fatigue, and injuries carry forward.

A Contract Is Not a Purchase

Dawn's victories fund ransoms for people still bound to the arena. Agree a ransom, restore a fighter's freedom, and let that person make the final choice: leave freely or sit down with Dawn as a potential companion.

At the personal-terms table, compare the agent's demands with your offer while patience runs down.

  • Negotiate weekly pay, contract length, signing bonus, squad role, and release terms.
  • Read row-by-row feedback, counter demands, and decide which promises the club can keep.
  • A club agreement never removes the companion's final say.

Give Every Set a Plan

A good roster is not one lineup copied three times. Save named tactics for every set size and decide how each group should fight.

  • Set stance, target and swap rules, control priorities, cooldown timing, and the opening eight seconds.
  • Tune formation depth, spacing, and individual roles for the fighters actually selected.
  • Adapt to new opponents, scouting knowledge, chemistry, fatigue, and injuries instead of pressing a universal answer.

Turn One Win Into a Season

  • Train 21 attributes and shape a different development path for every fighter.
  • Scout uncertain potential, hire staff, manage wages and upkeep, and decide which costs can wait.
  • Use purses, crowds, renown, and Dawn's awning workshop to keep the liberation fund moving.
  • Start in Division 5 and rise through promotion, relegation, playoffs, cups, and continental competition.

Test the Squad Beyond the League

Five- and ten-person raids demand a real tank, healer, and damage plan. Learn staged boss mechanics, manage threat and fatigue, and carry weapons, armor, and trinkets back into the next arena match. A failed attempt still builds mechanic mastery; the next pull is information, not dead time.

Do Not Take Them. Set Them Free.

Years ago, a nameless tentmaker paid the ransom of a fighter facing beasts. That fighter was your son, Enoch. He founded Dawn for the companions left behind; now you manage the company he built.

Staying is their choice.
