About the Game

Battle of Decay: Survival is a casual, arcade‑leaning top‑down wave survival set during the outbreak. Play solo or 1-4 player co‑op, unlock sections, gear up, and hold the line against the infected.

Modes

• Story (Co‑op): Fight through a hospital, underground areas, and the city. Unlock new sections, find codes, and survive the waves.

• Endless Survival (Co‑op or Bots): Arena‑style maps with purchasable sections, mystery/merch boxes, escalating waves, placeable defenses, upgrades, and leaderboards.

• Mods/Workshop: Early Steam Workshop support for community maps.

Open doors, find code notes, and complete quick wiring/code minigames to expand the map

Key Features

• Infected Variants: Regulars, sprinters, tanks, plus huggers (grabs) and spitters (vision block) with quick counter prompts - with mini‑boss encounters off‑wave.

• Sections & Economy: Earn points from kills and repairs to buy ammo, open doors, unlock areas, and roll mystery/merch boxes. Gain XP to unlock more guns and features.

• Upgradeable Weapons & Perks: Power up damage, mag size, fire rate, and more; pick perks like more health, faster reloads, or an extra weapon slot.

• Loadout, Gear & Placeables: Bring a primary weapon and equipment (grenades, molotov, stun, decoys). Fortify with mobile barricades, auto‑turrets, ammo boxes, and med kits.

• Vests & Teamplay: Vests boost survivability and team utility (e.g., faster revives).

• Style & Competition: Leaderboards and a cosmetics shop (skins, laser colors, light‑up shoes, ammo/effect colors).
