About the Game

Build an unlikely army. Find the combinations that make it unstoppable. Bannerborn is a fantasy auto-battler where you recruit troops, arrange your formation, and turn a handful of recruits into a wildly powerful fighting force. Take on the expedition solo or bring friends along in online co-op.

From a few recruits to a mighty army

Choose a leader, then build around the cards you find. Mix humans, goblins, orcs, dwarves, undead, and beasts with buildings and siege engines. Combine three matching cards to raise their star level, strengthen your favorites, and arrange your formation so each squad gets the support it needs.

Make ridiculous combinations

Fuse different army cards at the Soulforge to share their abilities and combine their upgrades. Give siege engines wings. Turn skeletons into walking troop factories. Stack powerful forge upgrades and army-wide doctrines, then see how far one outrageous idea can carry your run.

Choose your path. Shape your build.

Plot a route through branching battles, training camps, forges, and curious discoveries. Choose doctrines that change how your army fights and prepare for one of three final bosses. Try four difficulty settings, from Easy to Nightmare, or carry a victorious army onward into Endless mode.

Watch your army run wild

Once the fighting starts, your troops take over. Reinforcements pour onto the field, siege engines bombard the enemy, and dragons unleash fire over the melee. Move the camera, zoom into the action, and use what you learn to make your next formation even stronger.

Bring friends. Win together.

Play an expedition with up to four players in online co-op. Build your own army, inspect your allies' formations, and send cards to help complete their builds. Win your battle and your surviving troops can reinforce a teammate. Every army contributes to the team's survival.

Bring the whole critter crew

Earn achievements to unlock cosmetic companions, from tiny adventurers to a potato-tossing catapult. Collect all 11 critters to bring the whole crew onto the field, and dress them up with unlockable visual effects. They are along for the adventure while your army handles the fighting.
