Azooma Escape
About the Game
Your uncle is hosting a celebration tonight, and the entire village has turned up to corner you with food, ask why your grades are what they are, and pull you into conversations with no exit. You have one objective: reach the door before anyone notices you are trying to leave.

Azooma Escape is a comedy stealth game where the threat is not guards with flashlights. It is relatives with plates of rice. In Arabic, an azooma is a gathering you are not supposed to refuse, which is a problem.
What starts as one teenager trying to survive a single day of overwhelming hospitality becomes something stranger. A family errand that should take ten minutes. A village secret that has been waiting centuries for someone to stumble into it. This event is going to be longer than anyone expected.
Hospitality Is the Threat
Every room is a different kind of ambush. The aunt who needs a full academic progress report delivered in real time. The uncle whose stories have no ending and no point. The cousin who insists you try just one more dessert, and then one more after that. Read their movement patterns, time your steps, and slip through the gaps before someone locks you into a forty-minute conversation about a relative you have never met.
Use tables, low furniture, and crowd cover to stay out of sight. Crouch, weave, and learn the rhythm of each room. When a particularly determined chaser closes the distance and there is nowhere left to hide, throw a teacup at them. It is more effective than it has any right to be.
The Festival
The celebration has spilled into the courtyards, the alleyways, and every room of the house. Music covers some sounds and makes others worse. Street performers turn quiet corners into impromptu stages. Uncle Shaddad's Culinary Gangsters have locked the village down with food, and they take their hospitality very personally.
And the family is not only the living. Somewhere in the smoke and the noise, the family djinn has joined the search party, and a djinn does not lose people in crowds. Even the supernatural is on the side of staying for one more cup of tea.
