What do you do when the town you grew up in turns into a trap?

Your mother’s funeral was strange: it was too fast, the casket was sealed "for safety", and you couldn't shake the feeling that everyone was hiding something from you. Now, a never-ending black rain has blocked the roads and left you stranded. You can’t leave, and as you wait, the air begins to smell odd—like rotting fruit drifting in from the forest.

Awakewood is a psychological horror visual novel about isolation and what happens when the world you know stops being normal.

What you will find:

• A town under lockdown: There are no exits. The black rain covers everything, forcing you to stay in a place that feels more like a stranger's home every second.

• Nature in mutation: The horror isn't just monsters; it’s watching the forest and the outside world shift and transform into something else entirely.

• A family mystery: You need to understand what actually happened during that burial and what the forest is trying to reclaim.

• Your own path: Your decisions as you deal with loneliness and grief will shape the direction of the story.
