AWAITING YOUR HORDERS

AWAITING YOUR HORDERS

About the Game

DON'T PRODUCE ARMIES! VOMIT THEM ON THE BATTLEFIELD!

YEP! SIZE MATTERS: YOUR SMALLEST UNIT IS AN ARMY 😏 A 90s base-building RTS. One click: 10,000 to 100,000 soldiers. Up to 1,000,000 on screen.

THEY DON'T WALK. THEY CLIMB.

  • Piles, heaps and wobbly towers that keep advancing

  • Only the surface fires. Under fire, the stack melts

  • One shell: it collapses. Soldiers fly, see stars, get up, fight on

FORMATIONS THAT SHOULD NOT EXIST.

7 ground formations. 7 more in 3D. Split, merge, control groups, fog of war. And then these:

STEAMROLLER: your army rolls itself up into a hay bale. Then it rolls over theirs. One bite

WORMHOLE: 6,000 soldiers stand up as a turning hourglass. Two mouths, one throat. Nobody knows where it leads

GIANT: a colossus of 1,441 soldiers, like the human towers at a feria. The rest of the horde cheers at its feet

TRUE FLY: don't drop like flies. 1,000 soldiers take off as a glowing, humming swarm. Enemies run

PLAN EVERY MOVE. MURPHY HAS PLANS TOO.

Hoard 25,000 soldiers and the engineers paint roads on your map. Click the checkpoints, give each one an order: roll up, stand up, dig a moat, have a pint. Schedule the tea break. The enemy won'

BUILD. POWER. PRODUCE ARMIES.

  • Construction yard, power plant, crystal extractor, barracks

  • Machine-gun nests, cannons, twin turrets, sandbag walls

  • 10K batches first. 25K, 50K and 100K unlock as your hoard grows

  • 6 horde types: infantry, heavy infantry, scouts on stilts, tanks in 9 models, walkers, engineers

CREATE, MOD, HACK YOUR TANKS!

Stilts over your own infantry, or a Trojan that grows with its cargo, tall or long. Use them to embark not 1 engineer but a complete R&D lab. Don't steal 1 enemy building. Steal the neighborhood! GO

DIRECT CONTROL. KEEP SCROLLING.

Select any horde and keep rolling the mouse wheel. Past the 3D view you drop into top-down, then first person, in the front row. WASD drives the whole army. Tanks fire where you aim, and right-click brings up a sniper scope. For a tank. Roll your infantry into a steamroller and steer it yourself, exactly where it hurts

READ THE FRONT. THEN RUIN IT.

  • The ground heats up where the lines trade fire. Reinforce there

  • Every strike hits both sides

AIR RAID: a V of fighters screams over, eight bombs dive in. Or just one: PRECISION DROP

MEGA ERASER: a beam from your HQ. Undo is not available

TERRAFORM. BRIDGE. COLLAPSE.

Raise and dig the ground, within a budget.

BRIDGE: raise a riverbed, march across. Too many boots on it: it drops them in the river

DIG: under theirs

FROM LIMP TO BERSERK.

  • Every horde has a mood. Rally them. Rest them

  • Push them too far: they turn. Green. Red eyes. Hungry

  • Infection spreads on contact. Total infection: game over

MODES (IF YOU ARE STILL READING...)

  • CAMPAIGN: 15 missions in three acts, Commissar Vask of the Red Concord, a villain who takes himself very seriously, and at least one twist we will not spoil here

  • SKIRMISH VS AI: Recruit, Veteran, Warlord. 20 to 40 minutes a match

  • TWITCH MODE: your chat votes !attack !pile !towers for the enemy. Against you. Live

SURVIVAL: bullet hell. One commander, every horde on the map, upgrades between waves

SANDBOX: everything unlocked, no budget. Give every army a route and every checkpoint an order: roll up, dig a moat, have a pint. Press GO. Murphy does the rest

LOOKSMAXXED.

  • 2D pixel art on steroids that went to the wrong surgeon

  • Scroll past the closest zoom: it stands up. 2.5D. 3D. Real relief, real 3D tanks. Tab switches, F8 locks

  • Every pixel, the military fanfare and every battle cry generated in code: YAH! HAY! AHY! HYA! YHA?! AYH!!!

F7: THE JUKEBOX. A little radio window, the band's equalizer, one soldier jumping the peaks. We take very good care of our soldiers
