About the Game
Ever tried to mine something that won't stop spinning?
In Asteroid Rodeo, asteroids don't sit still. They tumble, roll, and rotate. You need to stop them before you can crack them open.
Fire a harpoon. Deploy thrusters. Tame the spin.
Sticky thrusters push. Tethers pull. Explosives work when patience runs out.
The Loop
Scan - Find the good stuff (Minerals, materials)
Despin - Harpoon it, thruster it, or blow it apart
Mine - Laser out the voxels
Sell - Haul to station, get paid
Upgrade - Better ship, bigger hauls, repeat
Radio Crackles to Life
Out in the belt, your radio picks up distress signals. A stranded cargo hauler with dead engines, drifting toward the rocks. An asteroid on collision course with the station.
Choose to help or keep mining. Harpoon a disabled ship and tow it to safety. Deflect an incoming rock before it wipes out your favorite trading post. Or ignore the call - someone else's problem.
