You are the last of your kind, the only one with mastery over Aether, the mystical energy that can summon fire and lightning against your foes.

With its long history of conquests, your kingdom is short on allies. In the north, your eternal enemies watch and wait beyond the snow. In the south, rebellion challenges your family’s ancestral rule. Trade falters in the west, and across the eastern seas, some suspect the quiet will not last long...

No one can rule alone. Those who supported you as you claimed the throne remain by your side; those who stood against you may yet still live. Who you choose to love, how you decide to treat them, and whether your values are aligned will have far-reaching consequences.

Your kingdom awaits your decisions, and so do the people closest to you. Strengthen your rule, forge new alliances, or risk losing what matters most.

Sir Wilfred, or Lady Willeen, has sworn to protect you till their last breath, and serves as both your trusted advisor and your Commander in the South. Despite a cold exterior, their affection is steadfast and genuine. Can be male or female, and romanced by any gender.

Heir to the realm's most powerful house, Cyril supported your claim to the throne, and remains at your side as one of your most trusted advisors. Cyril is a brilliant diplomat, and a passionate lover. Can be male or female, and romanced by any gender.

The former Commander in the North. Whether he has survived the events of Arcadie: Second-Born is up to you. While most still see him as an enemy, he can be romanced by either gender.

• Customize the world state using decisions from Arcadie: Second-Born.
  Engagements, political choices, and arcane bargains from the past may come back to haunt you, or reveal pleasant surprises.
  New players can jump in without playing the first game.

• Continue your romance begun in Arcadie: Second-Born.
  Rejoin Cyril, your betrothed; return to Will, your most loyal commander; or get in bed with your enemy—literally.
  You can also remain unattached.

• Immerse yourself in a reactive world and a character-driven, interactive story.
  Each character has their own motivations and goals, and your relationships will determine much of the story.

• Save and load your progress at any time. Rewind and change your choices at your leisure. Reach different endings depending on your choices.
