Anxiety Arcade

Anxiety Arcade

About the Game

A love letter to classic 80s video games and the chaos of the human mind, Anxiety Arcade invites you to stop, breathe, and press A to start.

There’s no way to win. There’s no final boss.
Only strange rooms, half-remembered memories, and hidden mini-games buried under layers of noise.

Each room is a song in an album — each puzzle another step deeper into your own head.
Bleak, funny, and bizarre, Anxiety Arcade looks at anxiety through the lens of those that experience it, rather than trying yo fix it.

Originally created as a full-sized arcade machine, Anxiety Arcade is a narrative game exploring themes of anxiety, isolation, and looping thoughts.

Developed by Closed Forum, made possible thanks to public funding from the National Lottery through Arts Council England.

  • Retro-inspired mini-games and hidden secrets.

  • Surreal narrative world that blends humour and melancholy.

  • Original soundtrack by Jack The Robot.
