About the Game

ANTE INFERNO is a roguelite card battler where the hand you play is the attack you make. Form a poker hand, unleash a class ability, and stack multipliers until the damage counter gives up on digits.

Your hand is your weapon

Pick up to five cards and attack. A Pair jabs. A Flush devastates. Four of a Kind ends the conversation. Every turn is the same question: cash in the hand you have, or discard and hold out for something obscene.

Four classes

Every class reads the same ten poker hands differently. A Flush is the Warrior's WHIRLWIND, the Cleric's DIVINE JUDGMENT, the Rogue's SHADOW DANCE, the Mage's METEOR.

• Warrior - block attacks, and hit hard with WHIRLWIND

• Cleric - heal off the damage you deal, stun with WRATH OF HEAVEN

• Rogue - flurries, crits, dodges, and ASSASSINATE to finish

• Mage - the fattest multipliers in the game, and echoes that cast twice

Hold out for a Straight Flush and it is RAGNAROK, APOCALYPSE, DEATH'S HAND or BLACK HOLE. Land a Royal Flush and it is GODSLAYER, RAPTURE, PERFECT CRIME or BIG BANG.

Descend

Burn through The Ashfall and put down CERBERUS. Drop into The Iron City and face LILITH, THE SUCCUBUS QUEEN. Drop again into The Pit, where FATE, THE ETERNAL DRAGON deals the last hand of the run.

Break the numbers

• Win a fight, multiply your Power, take 1 of 3 boons

• Level individual poker hands until a Flush outclasses a Straight

• Chain Court Favor, Ace Lore, Killer Instinct and Echo Chamber into combos that snowball

• Take OVERWHELMING POWER and double all of it

• Watch the damage roll past K, past M, past B, into T

Beginner Friendly

• No poker knowledge needed. The full hand ranking is one button away.

• Stuck? Sit still and the game lights up your best play. Hit attack and it plays itself.

• Runs save automatically. Walk away mid fight, pick it back up later.
