Anomaly: Haunted Aisle
About the Game
You find yourself on a supermarket aisle that never ends.
Sometimes something is out of place — odd, or just plain wrong. At other times, all is well. By carefully observing your surroundings, you must decide whether to turn back or press on. Each correct choice pushes you deeper into the store — and deeper into a story of guilt, grief, and a man searching for his lost wife and son.

THE RULES ARE SIMPLE
If you spot an anomaly, turn back.
If nothing seems wrong, continue forward.
Make enough correct decisions to reach the checkouts.
Make a mistake — and you’ll find yourself back at the beginning.
Each successful choice carries you further into the store, and further away from the familiar.
A PLACE THAT CHANGES AS YOU DO
What begins as a normal daytime supermarket slowly transforms across repeated loops:
A lively store becomes empty
Day turns to night
Shelves become bare, signs fade, lights go out
Familiar figures disappear… or leave something behind
With each return, new anomalies emerge — revealing fragments of memory, guilt, and loss woven into the environment itself.
This is not a place haunted by mere ghosts.
It is a place shaped by what refuses to be forgotten.

A STORY TOLD THROUGH OBSERVATION
There are no formal objectives on screen. No dialogue trees.
The story unfolds through:
Environmental details
Repeating figures
Subtle changes in space and time
What appears — and what no longer does
TV and radio broadcasts heard throughout the store
As you progress, you may begin to glimpse those you’re searching for.
And eventually, understand why you’re here.
