Annie's DineInn
About the Game
After struggling to find regular jobs as a tradie, putting food on the table was getting harder and harder as your daughter is growing up. You see a business opportunity and take a loan to buy a motel in the middle of nowhere in Tasmania. You move out of the shoebox apartment in Melbourne, Australia and head over to Tasmania.
You arrive at the motel with your daughter and settle in. The locals come to meet and greet with you. While some are happy to have you and some act suspicious. Have conversations with people how you like, but remember this, CHOICES MATTER and your actions may have consequences later. You are a father and decisions may also impact your daughter, so choose wisely.
Cook food to orders, rent the motel rooms, and take care of customers while maintaining
Core game-play elements:
- Cook for your daughter and customers on a daily basis.
- Maintain the building in cleanliness and upgrades.
- Restore the motel rooms to a rent-able condition.
- Provide a laundry service for tenants.
- Get a chicken for the chicken coup.
- Buy pots for the backyard to grow your own produce.
- Maintain your sanity with eating food, drinking coffee, listening to music or by smoking (while trying to quit smoking).
- Earn money with every opportunity you get from talking to customers, and upgrade the diner and motels.
- Buy a car and upgrade it as you get parts and money.
- Deliver food to customer locations or hire a driver.
The horror twist:
- Maintain your sanity or you will start seeing things. Seeing weird things happen more common when your sanity is low. And if you die, you lose the day’s progress.
- If you make enemies with the locals, be careful to lock all doors at night.
- There are things in the attic and the basement that cannot be explained. Try to keep your curious daughter from going in there.
- Delivering food can lead you to suspicious places too.
In Short:
There will be some difficult times and tough choices. Are you ready you take up the challenge to restore the building and do a grand opening? Or will you chicken out and run away if things get tough.
