About the Game

Among the Waves is a philosophical Metroidvania with elements of an immersive sim, where pregnancy becomes a source of power and physics is your main weapon.

In a world inspired by Russian culture and religious aesthetics, you explore Alatyr-M — a colossal techno-fortress where science intertwines with faith.

Fight, solve puzzles, and bend gravity using the powers of the child growing inside the heroine.

Alatyr-M is a black matryoshka fortress, hiding layers of Russian culture and scientific mysticism. Here, prayers blend with code, and an artificial intelligence learns to believe.

The Nameless is a wanderer who arrived at the fortress from afar — perhaps even from the depths of time. She carries a unique, divine Child that grants her superhuman abilities and protection. Together with her, the player will roam the endless corridors of the black fortress to unravel the mystery of the Doors of Birth.
