Welcome to All Night Ascension! This is a cultivation-themed asynchronous auto-battler that introduces a spatial deck-building experience using an "Eight Trigrams" array. Here, the traditional grid-based backpack inventory is completely overturned, replaced by a circular array imbued with the laws of heaven and earth. Arrange your formations, fuse cross-sect items, and forge your exclusive cultivation build!
📜 Lore Background: Reversed Landscapes, Transmigrated to the Earth's Core
The Great Sealing 10,000 Years Ago: Ten thousand years ago, to prevent the complete exhaustion of spiritual energy (Qi), almighty cultivators joined forces to seal all remaining Qi deep within the Earth's crust, forcibly carving out a vast "Subterranean Cultivation Realm." This miraculous act caused a cataclysmic reversal of the surface world—the former Tibetan Plateau collapsed into an endless abyss, while the surging Yangtze and Yellow Rivers upheaved into continuous mountain ranges.
Your Past and Present: You were originally just an overworked corporate drone in modern society who collapsed at your desk after pulling yet another all-nighter. When you opened your eyes again, you found your soul transmigrated into this bizarre inner-earth realm, becoming a rookie cultivator just stepping onto the path of immortality.
Seeking Immortality: Since you're here, make the best of it! You will join one of the Five Great Sects, collect rare treasures scattered across the world, and engage in constant magical duels in this ruthless underground realm. Ultimately, you aim to reach the pinnacle of the Great Dao and achieve immortality!
⚙️ Core Gameplay: Original "Eight Trigrams Array" Building
Break the Grid, Interlocking Rings! The game completely abandons the traditional square backpack inventory, adopting an original three-layer circular grid for strategic placement and building:
Four Symbols Layer (Inner Ring): Place your core Cultivation Methods and Formations here to lay the foundation of your build.
Eight Trigrams Layer (Middle Ring): Place core damage and support units like Flying Swords, Puppets, and magical Artifacts. They will undergo qualitative changes influenced by the Four Symbols layer.
Outer Ring (Edge): Inlay various Heavenly Materials and Earthly Treasures to provide powerful, directional buffs and stat bonuses to the corresponding artifacts and yourself.

Greetings, fellow cultivators! I am an indie developer who loves auto-battlers and cultivation culture. At the same time, I am a National Class-1 Registered Architect. As a professional used to pulling all-nighters and a lifelong gamer, I got fed up with the flood of reskinned cultivation games on the market. So, I decided to make the cultivation auto-battler of my dreams.
All Night Ascension is not just a self-deprecating joke of modern life, but also a bold attempt at gameplay innovation—replacing the traditional backpack with the "Eight Trigrams Array," hoping to bring you a completely different spatial building experience by combining traditional Chinese culture with modern gameplay.
As a solo indie developer, although I have fully utilized AI to assist with art and programming, please rest assured that as a meticulous architect and a hardcore fan of deck-building games, the core design and experience are entirely hand-crafted. I will be releasing a demo soon for you all to try out and critique!
Currently, the game is planned to launch with rich content featuring the Five Great Sects. For future DLCs and updates, I have already planned a more ambitious "Three Major Factions" expansion pack, so stay tuned!
