Alea

About the Game

Alea is a probability-driven, effect-chaining deck-building strategy battler built on Yacht dice hands.

Each fight is a puzzle of odds and timing: read the table, lock dice, sculpt rerolls, and route effects through your runes to take the win. Enemies draw inspiration from the Tarot each bringing a simple, decisive twist that reshapes how you value hands and turns.

How it plays

  • Roll · Lock · Reroll to a limit; craft hands that fit your plan.

  • Yacht hands convert into clear effects—damage, block, tempo—you can plan around.

  • Fight Tarot-themed enemies with unique twists: e.g., one scrambles a locked die, another taxes rerolls, another nullifies odd faces—learn them and push through.

  • Draft runes (offense / defense / utility / economy) to build chains and close out battles.

  • Short, replayable sessions with meaningful choices every fight.

Key Features

  • Balatro-like Deck-Building × Dice: build synergies with tactile dice decisions.

  • Yacht-Inspired Clarity: familiar hands, crunchy math, readable outcomes.

  • Rule-Bending Runes: stack multipliers, alter rerolls, turn niche hands into win conditions.

  • Tarot Enemy Roster: a lineup of foes, each defined by a single decisive ability.

  • Snappy Sessions, High Replayability: compact fights, many viable paths.

If you enjoy deck-building with emergent synergies, dice tactics, and systems you can actually learn, Alea is for you.
